What happened overnight?

What you see when you walk in is the result, not the cause. How low the temperature fell overnight and when humidity peaked — only a record tells you that.

Time spent outside the target range feeds straight into yield. Tracking that number daily is what answers "why was this year down" at the end of the season.

Let the alert arrive before the problem grows.

Thresholds are defined per crop and per block. When a value crosses one, the alert lands on a phone — at night too, because the greenhouse is yours at night as well.

Who gets the alert, between which hours and through which channel is all configurable. Someone woken at 03:00 for nothing stops reading the real alerts too.

What was applied, how much, and when?

In a greenhouse without irrigation and fertiliser records, both cost and yield are guesswork. Every application is recorded per block, so real input cost per decare comes out at the end of the season.

The same log covers crop protection. When a product is applied the pre-harvest interval is calculated, and harvest entry warns before that interval has passed — the single most common problem in export.

What did it return per square metre?

Knowing total revenue at the end of the season isn't enough. Which block, which crop, at which cost, returned what — this table is what decides next season's planting.

Blocks 1 and 2 grew the same crop, the same variety, planted the same day — yet profit per m² differs by 27%. The reason sits in the climate log: Block 2 spent 41 more hours outside the target range across the season.

The rest of the operation

Spraying and pre-harvest intervals

The interval for each product applied is recorded, and harvest cannot be entered before it expires. The record export needs is kept here.

Harvest and grading

Daily harvest is entered by weight, size and quality grade. Batches sold and their prices are on record.

Water and energy use

Water, electricity and fuel per block — the input cost lines that move most.

Pest and disease log

The pest observed, the measure taken and the result. When the same problem returns, last time's solution is ready.

Sensor independent

If you have sensors the data flows in automatically. If not, values are entered by hand; the system works the same either way.

Labour tracking

Hours worked per block. Pruning, trellising and harvest labour enter costing as their own lines.

Questions

Do we have to buy sensors?

No. If you have them we take the data automatically — tell us the make and model and we'll confirm compatibility. Without sensors, values are entered by hand a few times a day; the climate curve is coarser but alerts, irrigation records and costing all work the same.

Will this software run our automation system?

No. It does not open valves or fire the heating. Your automation keeps doing its job; we keep the record, alert when a threshold is crossed, and connect cost to yield. Confusing automation with a record system is what most vendors do.

Does it work in a greenhouse with no internet?

The phone app records offline and uploads when there is signal. But a threshold alert reaching you naturally needs a connection — if you're relying on critical alerts, a connection point at the greenhouse entrance is essential.

Is it suitable for GLOBALG.A.P. record keeping?

Irrigation, fertiliser, crop protection and harvest records are kept with dates and operators, and export. Whether those records suffice for certification is for your auditor and agronomist to judge; we make sure the record is complete and tamper-evident.

How many blocks and how much area?

No limit on either. If you run several greenhouse sites each is tracked separately and they appear together on the management screen.

Can it be used for open-field farming?

It can. Climate tracking means less than in a greenhouse, but irrigation, fertiliser, spraying, harvest and per-parcel costing all work the same way outdoors.
