Veterinary Clinic & Pet Health
Let the vaccine date reach the owner
before you do.
Patient and owner records, species-based vaccination schedules, automatic reminders, treatment history and expiry-tracked medicine stock. Most patients who don't come back aren't unhappy — they simply forgot the date.
You write the reminder wording. Figures and patient names are illustrative.
When a patient returns, everything is already there.
Species, breed, weight history, allergy notes, past treatments and medicines used, all on one card. The on-call vet or a new colleague starts already knowing the animal.
Went above the ideal range in December and a diet was advised. The last three readings show a decline — still under review.
The vaccination schedule is built per species.
A cat's programme isn't a dog's, and a puppy's isn't an adult's. Define the schedule once and the system tracks each patient's own place in it.
The programme here is set up as an example following common practice; whatever your clinic's protocol is, that is what gets defined. A vaccination schedule is a clinical decision and belongs to the vet — the software only follows the schedule you define.
Expired medicine should be noticed while it's still in the fridge.
A veterinary practice keeps a small stock, but it is expensive and it expires. Ask for the expiry date at goods-in and clear-out day stops producing surprises.
For cold-chain vaccines the fridge temperature log can be kept too — that is the second document an inspection asks for.
What is the clinic's real business?
Most practice owners estimate which work earns what. A breakdown by visit type shows which service carries the clinic and which one only takes time.
In this illustrative table surgery is lowest by count but top three by revenue. Setting the appointment diary against that is the single decision that most affects what a clinic earns.
The rest of the clinic
WhatsApp reminders
Messages for vaccines, check-ups and repeat medication. Who was contacted and when shows on the patient card.
Prescriptions and dosing
Doses are calculated by weight and the prescription prints. Less risk of a wrong dose, and no recalculating every time.
Weight and life tracking
Weight is recorded at every visit, so puppy growth and weight loss in an older patient show up on the chart.
Owner portal
Owners can see their animal's vaccination history and next due date on their own phone.
Allergy and chronic alerts
Allergy and chronic condition notes appear at the top when the card opens — they don't get missed.
Boarding
Daily care, food and medication for boarding animals is recorded separately, with a report to the owner.
Questions
Does the software decide the vaccination schedule?
No. You define it, following your own clinic's protocol. The system tracks the schedule you defined per patient and reminds when the time comes. A vaccination programme is a clinical decision and remains the vet's responsibility.
Can patients be found by microchip number?
Yes. Search works by microchip, patient name, owner name or phone number. Whether a found stray is in your records is a matter of seconds.
Do reminder messages cost extra?
WhatsApp and SMS delivery is charged by the operator, not by the software. We calculate the monthly cost from your expected volume before installation.
Does it talk to our laboratory equipment?
Some devices produce a results file that can be attached to the patient card. Direct integration depends on the device; tell us which you use and we'll give a straight answer. Without transfer, results are attached as a PDF.
We have several vets — do records get mixed up?
No. Every procedure is recorded with the vet who performed it. If you want, revenue and procedure counts per vet can be reported too.
Can we import our existing patient records?
A list from Excel or your current software imports. If past vaccination records were kept tidily they come across too — which matters, because the schedule depends on history. If they weren't, we look together at what can safely be moved.
